If you wonder why we take the flushing of wipes as seriously as we do, check out this news article from today from WREG – Memphis. Short version – a clog that measured just five gallons of flushed wipes shut nearly the entirety of a small town's wastewater system, required people to limit their water usage, and took days to clear. Five gallons. This is in a community of fewer than 600 people. Imagine the damage flushed wipes do in communities of 750 people, or 900, or 1,000,000.
